It was your average Saturday night at my sisters house when a friend of a friend popped round for a casual drink. Now, this friend of a friend has recently been in quite a serious motorbike accident and had his entire right leg in a cast from toe to thigh. Due to his medication after the accident, this was the first time he had drank alcohol in quite a while so, as you can imagine, things got a bit out of hand.
The drinks were flowing and the 'kitchen party' soon turned into a different kind of party between myself and said 'friend of a friend' - if you know what I mean!
Things were going great until I suddenly realised that my nose was pouring with blood! In a panic, I ran to the bathroom to realise that my nose ring had been pulled out of my nostril and was nowhere to be found! I cleaned myself up, soon got over the panic and continued with our 'different kind of party' as if nothing had happened.
Fast forward about 3 weeks later and I got a text message from him to tell me that he had had his cast removed from his leg however, they had found a strange object hidden in the crevices of the heel - MY NOSE RING!!
It must have gotten caught on the very top part of the cast and fallen down the entire length of his right leg!
It's fair to say we never had THAT kind of party again but we did remain friends and still laugh about it to this day!
